I have a very small amount of pictures that turned out nicely from the Asian Art rooms at the Philadelphia Art Museum (you’re allowed to take pictures, but not use flash so darker rooms become fuzzy looking on camera), but I have to encourage anyone who follows Asian History and who will have the chance or opportunity - to go there sometime. My grandmother generously took me with her to visit some family, and we went to Phila Art.

This is a photograph of the Elegance of the Inner Quarter: Art and Craft for Korean Women room. Perhaps one of my favorite things about the museum is that they’ve organized many of the rooms to match in style, theme, or period to each region. There’s Japanese building structures, wonderful Islamic architecture (especially if you look up), Chinese architecture, a room for Nepal, South Asian rooms, etc. It’s absolutely a full art and history experience, and very amazing!
